Ray Bawarchi

Ray Bawarchi (bau'ər-chē') is the pseudonym for an author who lives in the Asheville, NC area. Following advice from Voltaire that anyone who has anything controversial to say should use a pen name, Ray Bawarchi is going against the prevailing trend of networking; Facebook, MySpace and the like, and attempting to retain an anonymous private existence while simultaneously pursuing public fame.

In his first novel, The Dirt People, Bawarchi touches on themes of environmental degradation, technological enslavement and personal transformation. Set in a future where everything has become a commodity, The Dirt People questions the direction of modern society (see synopsis). His second novel, Voltaire’s Walkabout, due later this year, is sure to provoke controversy for its scathing attacks on religion and political ineptitude.

Like the characters in his novels, Ray Bawarchi is committed to defending the Earth, by ALL means necessary and is a dedicated member of the Church of John Coltrane.

B.D. Sharma

B.D. Sharma is a retired educator from New Delhi, India. He is the author of numerous educational books for children in the Hindi language. He has produced books for young children helping them acquire both math and language skills. Known for his clever rhymes that utilize the same sound as a teaching device, Mr. Sharma may well be the “Dr.Seuss of India”.

In his first production for Blue Throat Publishing’s children’s division, On the Back of a Mouse, Mr. Sharma will recount stories from the Mahabharata and other folk tales of India for an English speaking audience. Told anew, these stories will bring a different world alive for your children.

Dr. Pande is a well known and respected teacher and practitioner of Ayurvedic Medicine who resides in New Delhi, India. His text, Ayurvedic Medicine, will soon be offered by the Hariman House scholastic imprint in an all new English translation.
